Created by the Funmotron team, Monkey Go Round is a free game where you play as a cute monkey swinging from coconut tree to coconut tree on a beach. Don’t let its straightforward gameplay fool you, as it has a bit of a learning curve.

Impeccable timing is key

At first glance, Monkey Go Round looks like a casual game you can play to destress from life. However, this side scroller is tougher than Flappy Bird, pushing you to execute perfectly timed lunges to grab coconuts — each one netting you one point.

Of course, the game ends if the monkey falls. While there’s a temptation to aim for a high score, acclimating yourself first to the swipe controls and timing is a wise move. Overcoming the learning curve, though, rewards you with a gameplay experience that is as addictive as Flappy Bird.

Be patient and persistent

Although Monkey Go Round and Flappy Bird require precision, the former is harder to pick up and play. However—once you get used to the timing and controls—the game will be much more manageable and addictive. Unless you have patience, this title is not for the easily frustrated.
